To turn the sound on or off in The Creature Garden, Me, Infinite Arcade, The Monsters, The Robot Factory, or The Everything Machine, turn the sound on or off on your device. 

To turn the sound on or off in Mammals, The Human Body, Plants, Homes, Simple Machines, The Earth, Weather, or Skyscrapers:

1. While playing the app, tap the key in the upper left to open the toolbar.
2. Tap the gear icon at the top to reveal six icons.
3. Tap the volume  icon in the middle left to turn sound on and off.

To turn the sound on or off in States of Matter or Coral Reef:

1. While playing the app, tap the gear at the top left of the screen.
2. Tap the volume icon to turn sound on and off.
