Told with few words and beautiful illustrations, this is the story of a young girl who dreams of space travel.
Published in 1973 long before American women or Black people had traveled to space, this book is a simple and beautiful narrative about holding onto a dream. Long out of print, this book will be available again in Fall 2021. We're glad to see it will be available again and hope kids everywhere will be inspired by it. The illustrations by Leo and Diane Dillon manage to be both of the time and timeless.
