Little Blue and Little Yellow
A minimalist tale with big emotion.
If you ask designers about their favorite children’s books, inevitably many will cite Little Blue and Little Yellow. The story is a tale of a blue dot who befriends a yellow dot and while playing they hug and become green. As a green dot the pair have many adventures, but are rejected by each of their parents when they return to their respective homes. Eventually they cry themselves to pieces until they reform in puddles. Only then do their parents recognize them.
