A brother and sister get lost in a fog and discover a mysterious island.
Fog Island takes place “by the sea in the back of beyond,” a poetically non-descript name for the dreamy watercolor landscapes where brother Finn and sister Cara reside. The family is happy enough with their simple rural lifestyle on an Irish farm, but have been warned to steer clear of the “doomed and evil” Fog Island. Though they don’t intentionally disobey, Finn and Cara find themselves on the island due to inclement weather. There, they are welcomed by the Fog Man, who shows Finn and Cara how he creates the thick fog that got them lost, and how he will clear their way for a safe return.
